tetine are brazilian artists/musicians bruno verner and eliete mejorado and are stars of sao paulos avant garde music scene - uniting electronic music with brazilian dark sambas, performance art, spoken word, super 8 movies and whatever came into their heads. their musical influences range from bands such as throbbing gristle, peaches, tuxedomoon to kraftwerk, can, but it also incorporates heavily the more experimental side of brazilian musicians such as paulinho da viola, os mutantes, chico buarque or the tropicalists and rio baile funk artists. since 2002 they have lived and worked in london. three years ago they brought baile funk to the uk with their slum dunk radio show and subsequently with slum dunk presents funk carioca album. in 2005 they compiled the sexual life of the savages for soul jazz records - an album of obscure early 80s underground post punk from são paulo. in 2006 tetine played at the opening night of tropicalia - a revolution in brazilian culture - at barbican centre alongside brazilian multi-artist assume vivid astrofocus.

jack fell down are a slight adjustment to the generic format presented by producers and djs who. through conformity and expectance stand without exception in the fog of musics popularity led culture. opting instead to work in obscurity and anonymity jack fell down have signed a deal with one of the worlds longest standing and respected dance labels, southern fried records along side some of the industries biggest artist. jack fell downs debut release is a limited edition 12 inch extended player and will be in shops april 2012, this will be followed up with remixes for the 2 bears and a second ep with southern fried. jack fell down have an exclusive track on the upcoming jaymo & andy george compilation and have confirmed radio shows and blog podcasts with platforms such as ibizas sarah mains syndicated radio show. jack fell downs approach to a performance is purist, exchanging the mac book pro for the 1210s and the digital effects unit for technique, they are content to share the love at a dirty bog stomp or a world class club.

laidback luke is the latest signing to ministry of sound, where the dutch super-producer joins example, wretch 32, yasmin, and dj fresh on one of the worlds hottest label rosters. lukes recent track with steve aoki featuring lil jon (turbulence) recently reached the radio 1 b list. >natural disaster< is currently one of the biggest anthems of the summer, picking up huge support from radio 1 (pete tong, annie mac, judge jules), kiss, capital and many more.

an electro hacktivist since the 90s, french techno pionneer, inventor of what became electro clash with miss kittin, true italo disco lover, legitimate son of dopplereffekt and kraftwerk and godfather of the new french sensation gesaffelstein with whom he runs the label zone. when michel amato (his real name) contacted us with a few tracks we felt so honored. he really got back to his roots here with deep italo and electro, warm analog synths against cold robotic drum machines, great melodies. it would have been a hit on the now defunct cbs radio.

r.k. is the new musical collaboration of ronnie turner (blunted funk project) and kev beadle (solar radio/southport weekender). on this first release the boys have chosen two much loved classic tracks from back in the day and have respectfully extended and re-tweaked them for play to those that know the score.

after i heard enol s beautiful track white mango on initial cut, i felt the need to reach out. i had a long and friendly conversation with matthieu (enola) about our musical background and agreed on the fact that we both have a weakness for pop music and early detroit techno, and quickly came to the conclusion that something with a little pop would be perfect for the label. enola came to us with >slow motion< featuring the vocals of will caulfield. its something different for enola, and something different for us, deep techno pop, perfect for 5am! enola is the new project of french dj matthieu monnin, who used to be part of the techno outfit noirdegout. matthieu now works on his own, finding his niche in melodious techno, taking inspiration from the sounds of the nineties. he has done work with the likes of rodriguez jr, anoraak, and arno gonzalez, and now he joins correspondant with >slow motion<. on the flip side, nhar, the other half of correspondant turns the darkness into light with for me, his best remix to date. if the original is for 5am, nhars remix is for 5pm, when the sun still shines and its warmth still remains.
